About LeAnne
LeAnne Ozaine-Smith is the founder and president of Ascend Financials. In addition to her work at Ascend, she is also a financial planner, investment advisor, and a direct-selling money guru. LeAnne’s passion is to equip entrepreneurs for financial success. She firmly believes in Direct Selling Companies – and she is known for joining that belief with solid teaching on successful business practices.
If you think you’d rather have a root canal than go to a financial class, you haven’t been in one of LeAnne’s financial workshops! She wants everyone to know that she’s a perfectly normal “girl” with a B.A. in English and a minor in Theatre; she swears she’s not really a numbers person naturally. She touts that her non-analytical mind and her normalness is what make her effective. She proudly speaks the-language-of-the-people, rather than a bunch of analyst mumbo-jumbo. She’s a resounding gong that, “Money management and financial strategy is justa skill! Skills can be learned and taught. Were you born typing? No difference.” LeAnne is probably best known for her “soapboxes” and editorial comment on all things related to money in business. She is probably the most passionate, charismatic, and unconventional “money coach” you’ll ever meet. She loves to help people turn the light on, financially. From keeping more of what you make, to covering your rump financially, to moving beyond what you gleaned about money from your folks, to investing, LeAnne will (no doubt) show you the way to go. She lives in Spokane, Washington with her husband Chad and two dogs. In addition to her career, she enjoys skiing, reading, writing, and loves to go wine tasting with her husband.
